\n \nWhile Christians look to the Bible, addicts look to the 12 Steps. But what if both groups have been really looking in the same direction - and didn't even know it?\n \nThe 12 Steps are as biblical as the New Testament. Jesus unpacked each of the Steps in 12 personal encounters with people in need of recovery. So get ready . . . you are about to see the Gospels - and the 12 Steps - as you've never seen them before.\n \nThe Bible or the 12 Steps? You no longer have to choose!\n \nUsing familiar stories from the Gospels, Mark provides a biblical basis for each of the 12 Steps. Not only will you come away with a better understanding of the biblical text, but also, you will have a new appreciation for what is involved in each of the steps of recovery.\n \nWritten by one who has dealt personally with sex addiction, this material has direct application to every type of addiction. Because addiction is a prevalent issue in our world, this book will become a valuable resource to have on the shelf for every addict and for every minster striving to help addicts.\n \nNo one is more qualified to connect the Gospels to the 12 Steps than Dr. Mark Denison.
