Godsend - Bridget Smith

\nA positive outlook about humanity is surely a minimum requirement for an angel, right? But Archangel Michael isn't feeling it. He longs for people to evolve, but despairs of it actually happening. Even Source, who created the world, wonders whether people can change for the better, and pushes Michael to do some fieldwork on Earth. When Michael incarnates in a tiny town in Alaska, he discovers that he has his work cut out for him, despite help from the guardian angels, and realizes that being in a human body with fierce emotions is far more difficult than he had ever imagined. What was Source thinking? In this light-hearted novel, Michael quickly becomes an important part of the small community. But when evil makes a surprising appearance, he wonders where his role lies and what he should report back to the all-knowing one. \n \n\n
